Information Technology Professionals Association

 

The Information Technology Professionals Association (ITPA) is part of Amicus MSF section.

Amicus, Britain's second largest trade union, was formed by the merger of MSF and AEEU on 1 January 2002.

The ITPA is an autonomous section of Amicus MSF section, established to look after the interests of our 12,000 members who are information technology professionals.

The ITPA was formed in June 1995, and aims to provide specialist advice and a network for IT professionals for the exchange of information on matters of common concern and interest.

ITPA National Secretary Peter Skyte served as a member of the Information Superhighway Forum set up by Labour Leader Tony Blair, which produced the document "Communicating Britain's Future".
